Getting started
- Install the app from Google Play: Hello AI – AI phone | Google Play.
- Read and accept the terms of service.
- Set Hello AI as your default phone app.
- Choose a subscription. You can try the app for 7 days by selecting the offer when paying for the subscription (offer for new users).
- Once the subscription is active, we verify your phone number. The number is sent to the server, which sends a one-time code to it; the app listens for and reads that message. SMS read or send permissions are not required.
- All calls then go through the Hello AI app.
- When a call arrives, the app checks whether the number is in your contacts and, based on your settings, either answers it or not.
- Hello AI replaces your default phone app. Move the new app icon to where your old phone icon was — your old phone app is now retired.
